In VIULearn when creating discussion forums or topics, you can choose to allow anonymous posts. When anonymous posts are enabled at the forum level, this will mean that every discussion topic within that forum will allow users to post anonymously. When anonymous posts are enabled at the topic level, this means that only that specific discussion topic will allow users to post anonymously.
When anonymous posts have been enabled in a discussion topic, users will be given the option if they would like to post anonymously. Anonymous threads and replies will display with the author "Anonymous" in the post rather than with the user's name and you (as the instructor) will not be able to see who created those posts or replies.
